Research Interest:
My research interest lies at the intersection of sustainable finance, financial inclusion, and digital financial technologies. The increasing global focus on sustainability has led to an urgent need to explore how financial systems can be structured to support environmental and social well-being. My primary area of focus is sustainable finance, particularly the role of financial institutions in promoting environmentally responsible investments and ensuring equitable access to financial resources.
A key aspect of my research examines the impact of greenwashing on customer trust and loyalty in fintech companies. With the rise of digital financial services, many companies market themselves as "green" without genuine sustainable practices, potentially misleading customers. My work aims to analyze how such practices affect consumer behavior and financial decision-making.
Additionally, I am deeply interested in financial inclusion for small-scale farmers in developing economies, particularly in Nigeria’s northern region. Many of these farmers lack access to affordable credit facilities, which hampers agricultural productivity and economic growth. My research explores how financial policies and digital banking solutions can bridge this gap, providing sustainable credit options to underserved communities.
Furthermore, my interest extends to the application of SAP FICO and HANA in financial management, assessing how digital financial transformation can improve financial efficiency in both corporate and public sectors. By integrating advanced financial systems with sustainability-driven policies, my goal is to contribute to research that enhances financial stability while supporting environmental and social development.
