Passionate, self-motivated and hard working. Presently working with Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS – Rohini) as Professor, Area Chair (Finance) and heading the innovation council. Having 20+ years of experience including academia and industry. Core areas of teaching are Accounting for Managerial Decisions, Financial Statement Analysis, Financial Management and Strategic Financial Management; Areas of research are Financial Inclusion, Financial Literacy, Digital payments, Fintech, Technology in banking, Blockchain, Sustainable Banking etc. Published and presented several research papers in the National and International Journals and Conferences. The research paper titled: ‘Technology based Initiatives by Indian Commercial Banks towards Financial Inclusion’ was presented in the annual conference of IIM-Bangalore, and received the “Best Paper Award”. I have also been involved in conducting Management Development Programmes (MDPs) and training sessions for employees of Punjab and Sind Bank (PSB), Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), GAIL India Ltd., NTPC, IOCL, KRIBHCO, Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) etc. I have attended several FDP’s and workshops, and organized several seminars and events in JIMS. I have also been involved in guiding the post graduate students for dissertations, research projects, and summer training projects. I am interested to work in association with professional groups who offer me more challenges and an opportunity for professional growth and personal satisfaction by utilizing my skills.
